Students will choose an HBCU (by May 1st) and dress up to show school pride!

• Students will prepare to do a presentation on their HBCU of choice that includes:

  • What year the HBCU was founded

  • Where it is located

  • Founding members

  • Name of their marching band

  • The mascot

  • Their official colors

  • A fun fact you like about the school

  • Famous Alumni

• 4th-8th grade students should include:

  • What programs of study the school is best known for

  • A written explanation of what their major and/or minor would be if they were to attend the school.
